A Day at Sungei Buloh

Recently, my friend J. and I visited Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Located on the northwestern corner of Singapore and easily accessible by public transportation, it's well worth the trek. It boasts a mangrove swamp, mud flats, jungle, and tidal pools. It's easy to see a variety of birds, monitor lizards, mudskippers, and other small animals. There are also crocodiles there, but we didn't see any. And the best part - all the open space.

Check out pictures of Sungei Buloh on my Singapore Gallery page.

  1. Nice pictures. It looks like a very interesting place to visit. Well, except for the spider.
